You probably already know that eating out can be a budget-killer. And we know you are eating out, because in 2015, the average American spent more on restaurant food than groceries. We love eating out too, but we want to help you save your hard-earned money for your future financial goals.

While adding home-cooked meals can save you money, we know that adding anything to your already busy student schedule can be overwhelming! That’s why this year’s “Cooking on a Dime” cookbook focuses on easy, inexpensive, pack-able food items that you can make ahead and bring with you. (See recipe links below.)

And what is better for your budget than FREE FOOD? Be sure to visit us at the Warrington Campus Student Center on Tuesday, April 12 and the Pensacola Campus Student Center on Thursday April 14, 2015 from 11am – 1pm for our Cooking on A Dime: Pack-n-Go Edition event. We will have samples of some of these easy recipes and some great door prizes!
